Description
Phos-Check® is an ICL Performance Products LP trademark for a series of phosphorus-based fire retardants. Phos-Check P/30 fire retardant additive, a pure Form I Ammonium polyphosphate, is a unique chemical, possessing properties superior to those of other known phosphate fire retardants.
Phos-Check is an effective fire retardant additive for applications such as: Intumescent paints and coatings, both water-based and solvent-based. Intumescent mastics, caulks, putties, sealants, epoxies, films and adhesives. Polymer systems, including those based on polyethylene, polypropylene, polyurethane, rubber, acrylics and polyterephthalates. Building materials such as wall coverings, ceiling tiles, roofing products, wall panels, wood chip board and composites.
