Dry PTFE Lubricant & Release Agent – Telcon – Dampney Company Inc

Description

Telcon, PTFE dry lubricant functions as an excellent dry lubricating agent when applied as a coating to metal and plastic surfaces. Its chemical and physical properties are distinctly different from silicone oils and waxes. The super slick dry lubricant coating has an extremely low coefficient of friction that prevents wear.

USES: Most load lubrication points such as vending machines, conveyors, hinges, doors, locks, window slides, drawer zippers, screw threads, sewing hardware, saws and woodworking tools; any equipment or machinery where a wet lubricant would pick-up too much dust, dirt or grit: lubricates leather, plastics, elastomers, natural and synthetic fibers, paper, cloth, felt, glass and metal.

Telcon may be heated from 250°F to 500°F for 10-15 minute for improved adhesion after application to the part. (CAUTION: Adequate ventilation must be provided when heating  above 500°F).
